FROM-- SET SEVEN, CIVIL WAR STUDIES

Frederick Douglass, Abolitionist and Advisor to the President-- Frederick Douglass "after the war"

Student Task #10--  What Happened to Frederick Douglass After the War

Frederick Douglass' life after the Civil War, and the assassination of the President would be, perhaps, the most interesting of his career and life-history.  His life and career did end in 1865.  Read about his post Civil War years.

READ: the Chapters of his last autobiography The Life and Times of Frederick Douglass (1881).  Center in on Douglass' post Civil War years of service to our country.  List achievements and events of his life and then write an essay integrating this list into a narrative.
